Digital Marketing for Charities & Not-For-Profits

It’s no secret that, in one way or another, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the performance and economies of various companies around the world.

Nonprofits are no exception. Reports from UK government fundraising charities show “a possible loss of 48% of their voluntary income and a third of their total income loss”, according to a study of 500 NPO.

The non-profit sector is also believed to have lost at least £ 4.5 billion in revenue as a direct result of the pandemic (NCVO, 2020). This is due to the cancellation of many in-person fundraising events, cutbacks in donations, cutbacks in grants, closing of charities and most Furlough employees, or even closing down layoffs to save money. Because of this, many charities relied on their reserves during the summer.

The UK government has offered various financial assistance programs to help charities keep working during the pandemic, but we understand that this is not enough. In response, some of the Impression’s digital marketing experts worked with the CSR team to create this training resource to help third-party marketing and operations staff improve their digital strategy and connect with their audiences.
